1. How can "College-Sport" help me?
Our role in this process is to be a quality information center to help the coaches to determine the quality of individual candidates, because many times the candidates can not objectively evaluate themselves and present themselves poorly omitting many important details. In addition to sports profiles that we create for you and the video of your game, the coaches can also rely on our assessment of the quality of candidates. We are also the missing link for talented athletes who wish to continue their education in the United States, but do not have enough information about this complicated process. Our mission is to introduce the American system of education that differs significantly from all the European ones to our athletes, inform and guide them through the entire process. What we do is not rocket science, but what they could for themselves if you had the knowledge, experience and time.

3. Where am I staying during my studies?
Accommodation depends on the type of college you are going to, but there are basically 2 options - living in the dorms (on campus) or in an appartment/house (off campus). The most common is the campus housing option, which is also the best for the start for faster student life adjustment. Campus is sometimes as big as a small town, given that some universities have around 20,000-30,000 students. Some colleges don't have their own campus, and then students live in an apartment; but newcomer athletes usually join colleagues from the team that assist beginners in adjustment to a new life.

5. What is the scholarship amount?
The scholarship amount that will be offered depends entirely on the coach, or on their estimate of your athletic potential. There is a real option of getting a full sports scholarship, which covers 100% of the costs (tuition, housing and food). Student does not receive any money, but simply with the bill for education, gets a scholarship that covers it. Typically, the scholarships cover between 30% and 100% of the cost.

7. For what period are scholarships awarded?
Although our candidates are expected above-average contribution in their athletic performance, it is important to note that the scholarships can not be withdrawn in the current year in case of bad athletic performance. Athletic scholarships are awarded for one year and no coach can be grant a scholarship for a period longer than that, because it is contrary to the NCAA and NAIA rules. There is an unwritten rule among coaches that the scholarships from year to year are renewed, i.e. automatically provide at least the same amount for the next year. If that doesn't happen, often the coaches provide help to a student to find a new school. With coaches who do not respect this rule, "College-Sport" will not cooperate, because we believe it is not fair to judge athletes solely on the results of one year (factors such as injuries, adjustment, etc. can affect the performance as well).

9. Is it possible to work in the United States during studying on an F-1 visa?
We should bear in mind that it is necessary to have the initial financial support, at least for the first few months in the U.S.. Each student can work on the Campus (any job) from the very beginning of the study, while work outside the campus is legal only after 9 months of stay in the U.S. and must be reported in the form of practice (internship or so called CPT) approved by their academic advisor. After obtaining a Bachelor degree, a student is entitled to work for 1 year on a student visa, so called OPT in a job related to their degree.
